The HO 4G towable tube features a plush softshell covering on the armrests and seating area for an incredibly comfortable ride. Quick-connect tow hooks allow easy hookup and let you tow from the front or rear. Two-way Boston valves for quick and easy inflation and deflation. The Boston Valve is a screw-on, two-way valve. The bottom portion is screwed into the towable, while the top is screwed open for inflation and then tightened after inflation. Air is easily released by unscrewing the base connector. It's important not to miss a thread when screwing in the Boston Valve as it may cause the tube to slowly leak air. Boston Valves can be replaced easily.
Softshell Technology: HO Sports delivers an ultra-comfy tubing experience by encasing the top of their towables with a plush, cozy cover using this technology. Gone are the days of "tube rash" and rides with scratched up knees and elbows. This super soft material covers the entire top of the HO deck-style tubes and the seating and armrest areas of the sit-on towables.
Abrasion-Resistant: Traditional tubes have knee and elbow pads to protect your skin from "tube rash". With HO's exclusive Softshell Technology, the entire riding surface is covered in Softshell material, thereby preventing tube rash on knees and elbows.
Temperature Control: When traditional nylon tubes are left in the sun for extended periods, the material often becomes hot to the touch. Lying down on the hot tube then becomes uncomfortable and can even harm the skin. However, Softshell material does not become as hot and thus remains comfortable to touch, even in harsh sunlight. Even black Softshell remains cooler than traditional nylon, giving you a cool surface to ride on all day!
