A day on the water is made better when you’re out there with friends. And if you don’t have a boat—or even if you do—one of the best ways to get out on the water with your pals is on a party island. Party islands range from water mat-style floats, which are great for splashing, running, jumping, and getting wet. Inflatable party islands can be small, holding just a few people, or really large—holding 12 or more. These are great for lounging, especially with a cooler in the middle to keep everyone stocked on icy beverages. Or you can opt for a smaller, inflatable tube-style party-island, where some can climb aboard and others can hang on and lounge, then swim off to another party island that’s waiting nearby. Looking for something even more active? The party really gets going in giant inflatable water parks, with slides and water guns. Because a day on the water usually ranges from fun to relaxed, it might be a good idea to get a couple of different kinds of party islands, so you can keep the party going all day long.
