For new and recent Volvo Penta engine systems, a multi-link hub should be available. This will have 6 connections, 1 of which must be available in order to connect your ECI-100. For this connection, you will need the Raymarine Volvo Engine EVC Cable Link. This cable is connected between the DeviceNet connector of the ECI-100 and the available socket on the multi-link hub for use with the Volvo Penta engines.
For older Volvo Penta engine EVC systems where no multi-link hub is available, it is necessary to use the Raymarine Volvo EVC Engine Cable Link in conjunction with a Y-Splitter Cable (part# E70241; Overton's item# 334472).
